Chris Jenkins has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the steel and metal industry. Chris started their career at Laminating Company of America in 1989 as an Operations Manager, where they oversaw inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow. Chris also ensured environmental compliance through audits and workshops. In 2000, they joined SOS Metals, Inc as the Director of Operations/Facilities, where they coordinated daily operational functions and expedited customer service needs. Chris maintained security across multiple facilities and managed budgeting and capital expenditures. In 2011, they moved to Acme Metals (aka NuSteelCo) as the Warehouse Operations Manager, starting as a Superintendent before overseeing activities throughout the warehouse operations. Chris interacted and coordinated with staff and customers, advised daily requirements and schedules, and monitored various aspects of operations such as data entry, distribution, safety, and inventory control. Currently, Chris is serving as the Director of Operations & Safety at Intsel Steel West LLC, a position they assumed in 2021.

Chris Jenkins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) degree from the University of Phoenix between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, they hold an Associates Arts Degree in Purchasing Management from Coastline College, although the specific years of attendance are unknown.
