Chris Draycott has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Chris started their career at AltaVista, where they worked as a Software Engineer and played a key role in migrating the AltaVista international search frontend into a unified platform. After AltaVista was acquired by Overture, Chris continued working as a Software Engineer at Overture. Later, they joined Yahoo through the acquisition of Overture, where they worked on various products such as Altavista, Alltheweb, Yahoo! Search, MyWeb, Yahoo! Answers, and Delicious. At Yahoo, they migrated AltaVista and Alltheweb onto the Yahoo Apache/PHP stack. Chris then moved on to work at Payvment as a Technical Lead, where they led a development team and was responsible for building and maintaining the frontend PHP platform. Payvment was later acquired by Intuit, and Chris continued their career at Intuit as a Principal Software Engineer. At Intuit, they worked on a variety of roles and projects, including prototyping social experiences, building experiences using PHP, MySQL, Node, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Chris also worked on the consumer-facing experience of Mint.
