Witney Chen

Witney Chen is a Senior Clinical Scientist at Intuitive, with prior experience as Lead Neuroscientist/Data Scientist and Senior Neuroscientist/Data Scientist at Rune Labs. Chen has served as a Technical Advisor at Insight Data Science and completed a doctoral research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on prefrontal neural circuits in Parkinson’s Disease under the guidance of Dr. Philip Starr. Chen has authored five publications and presented at three national conferences, receiving two pre-doctoral fellowships, including a high-ranking NIH proposal. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco, Statistics Tutor at Brown University, and a Summer Research Intern at Janssen Inc. Chen holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco.
