Stina Björquist

Stina Björquist has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2022, they joined RISE Research Institutes of Sweden as a Research and Development Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Inuheat Group AB as a Project Manager in R&D Textile starting in 2017. In 2016, they were an Assistant Knitting Technician at Högskolan i Borås and a Project Employee at Smart Textiles. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. Before transitioning into their current field, Stina gained experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Teacher/Recreational Instructor at Uddevalla kommun. Stina also had a Youth Internship at Uddevalla Hospital with Västra Götalandsregionen. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Waitress at Café Kungsgatan.

Stina Björquist began their education in 2010 at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, where they pursued Franska studier and obtained a degree in Franska nivå B2 in 2011. Afterwards, they attended the University of Borås from 2012 to 2015, earning a Teknologie kandidatexamen (tekn.kand.) in Textilteknologi. In 2014, Stina took master courses in Textile Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, and during the same year, they also studied Italienska at Università degli Studi di Torino. Later on, from 2015 to 2017, they returned to the University of Borås, completing their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Textile Technology.
