Amit Vasavada

Amit Vasavada is a Chief Science Officer at Invasive Species Corp. & Invasive Species Foundation, focusing on research and development of microbes, molecules, and metabolites to combat invasive species. Prior to this role, Amit held leadership positions in various companies within the biotechnology and agriculture industries, with a strong background in R&D, manufacturing, and technology development. With a Ph.D. in Applied Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, Amit has extensive experience in process development, scale-up, and commercialization in the field of bioproducts, gene therapy, and biofuels.
