Sumudu Nishantha

Sumudu Nishantha has over 17 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Sumudu began their career in 2004 as a Software Engineer at Metatechno Lanka Company Private Limited before moving on to the role of Systems Engineer at Metatechno in 2005. Sumudu then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Metatechno Lanka from 2008 to 2010.

In 2010, Sumudu joined Postec Data Systems Ltd as a Development Engineer, where they stayed for four years. Sumudu then joined Invenco in 2014 as an Embedded and Application Engineer. Over the years, Sumudu took on increasing responsibilities at Invenco, including roles such as Payment Kernel Team Lead, Team Lead for EMV Payment Kernels & Firmware, and most recently, they have been serving as the Development Manager for Platform Software since July 2021.

Sumudu Nishantha completed their BSc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the University of Peradeniya from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at The University of Auckland from 2011 to 2013.
