Sanatan Upmanyu

Sanatan Upmanyu has extensive experience in data sciences and life science consulting. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Data Sciences at InveniAI GmbH, where they play a vital role in managing processes, design, research, development, and delivery for the AlphaMeld® Platform. Sanatan also conceptualizes, builds, and executes innovative solutions throughout the drug development life cycle by leveraging the power of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. In addition, they collaborate closely with scientific teams to strategize data infrastructure, model development, deployment, and monitoring.

Previously, Sanatan worked as a Life Science Consultant and Data Scientist at InveniAI GmbH from April 2017 to December 2020. Before that, they co-founded Kstych Pvt Ltd in 2012, where they served as a Director Data Sciences and Life Science Consultant. Sanatan also held the position of Board of Director at ArtiXio starting from January 2019.

Earlier in their career, Sanatan worked at BioXcel Corporation as a Director Data Sciences and Life Science Consultant from November 2010 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were a Research Biologist at Ranbaxy where they focused on understanding and validating the mechanism of action through siRNA targeted gene silencing. Sanatan'srole included various tasks such as cloning, expression, purification, and activity analysis of human kinases, cytochrome p450 proteins, GPCRs, and bacterial enzymes involved in target-based drug discovery.

Sanatan Upmanyu completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Bioinformatics from the Bioinformatics Institute of India in 2004. In addition, they received a certification in "Building a Data Science Team" from Johns Hopkins University through Coursera in March 2017.
