Emmanda McKenzie

Principal Research Associate at Invenra

Emmanda McKenzie has been working in the research field since 2018. Emmanda started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University in Dr. Angeline Lyon's Lab and Dr. David Sanders Lab. In Dr. Sanders Lab, they investigated an adeno-associated viral vector system to understand its delivery potential for CRISPR-Cas9 in HEK293 cells, and shadowed and assisted senior level graduate students to understand and master the fundamentals of gene cloning. In 2020, they joined PPD as an Associate Scientist. Currently, they are working as a Senior Research Associate at Invenra since 2022.

Emmanda McKenzie attended Lake Central High School from 2012 to 2016. Emmanda then attended Purdue University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a degree in Biological Sciences. In March 2019, they obtained a certification in Adult CPR/AED & Child CPR from the American Red Cross.
