Deb Micklos

Deb Micklos has extensive experience in the field of clinical operations, spanning over 20 years. Deb currently holds the position of Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Inventiva Pharma, where they are responsible for the operational oversight of clinical studies and the management and development of staff. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director and Director of Clinical Operations at AlloVir, where they devised efficient clinical trial strategies, managed study budgets and timelines, and collaborated with various departments to ensure successful clinical development. Before AlloVir, Deb held positions at Corbus Pharmaceuticals as Director and Associate Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing monitoring operations, implementing clinical systems, and conducting clinical trials. Deb also served as the Manager of Clinical Operations at IQVIA, where they managed staff and participated in the selection and onboarding process. Earlier in their career, they worked at QuintilesIMS as a Senior Site Management Lead, Quintiles Outcome as a Senior CRA, Clinical Assistance Programs as an Associate Program Coordinator, Partners Worldwide as a Program Consultant, and Community Research Initiative of New England as a Research Coordinator. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in clinical trial management, regulatory compliance, project oversight, and personnel development.

Deb Micklos obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biochemistry from Calvin University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Deb then pursued a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from Boston University, attending from 2000 to 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Deb Micklos became a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA®) through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in October 2010. Deb also earned the same certification from the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals in the same month and year. Furthermore, they obtained membership in the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in September 2003. Most recently, in November 2022, Deb Micklos obtained the Certified Clinical Research Associate certification from the ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
