Apurva Doshi

Apurva Doshi, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Alternatives Risk at Invesco Ltd. since April 2017, leading global independent risk oversight for the Alternatives vertical and providing investment teams with analytics and insights. Prior to Invesco, Apurva held multiple roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from July 2013 to April 2017, culminating as Vice President of Risk Analytics. Earlier experience includes a Senior Front Office Consultant role at Misys, where expertise in cross-asset portfolio and risk management systems was developed, and a Risk Advisor position at MSCI Inc. focused on best practices in risk management. Apurva began the career as an Analytics Test Engineer at RiskMetrics Group, ensuring accuracy of risk product analytics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, along with study abroad experiences in multiple prestigious institutions.
