Carl Garner

Carl Garner is a highly experienced executive currently serving as the Global Head of Investments Transformation at Invesco Ltd. since November 2012. In this role, Carl leads the company's simplification strategy and oversees the multi-year 'NextGen' transformation initiative. Previously, Carl held the position of Global Head of Derivative Development, where responsibilities included developing a global derivative platform and enhancing investment processes, governance, and risk management across various investment centers. Prior to joining Invesco, Carl worked as an independent consultant for over 18 years, collaborating with tier 1 institutions such as investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds on global transformational projects focused on strategy, technology integration, and business process implementation. Carl Garner holds a Diploma in Business Strategy, Marketing, and Administration from Natal Technikon.
