Hossain Samei

Hossain Samei is an experienced engineer specializing in advanced robotics and simulation, currently working at Invest Ottawa since November 2022, where Ansys simulation services are provided for autonomous driving, robotics, and electromagnetics. Previously, Hossain served as a Research Assistant at Carleton University, focusing on the dynamics and control of soft continuum space manipulators, and worked as a Teaching Assistant in both Computer Aided Design and Solid Mechanics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from both Carleton University and Purdue University, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additional roles include internships at GKN Aerospace and xCraft UAV, where Hossain contributed to various aerospace engineering projects, including the design of drones and documentation of production processes.
