Alex Hopkins

Alex Hopkins is an experienced engineering manager and digital build lead at Investec Wealth & Investment UK since September 2014. Prior roles include programming intern at Binary Pumpkin and laboratory teaching assistant at the University of Abertay Dundee, supporting C++ and Pathfinding modules. Alex also gained experience as a programmer at Dapper Hats, a games startup, and as a student helper for NESTA's digital events. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Game Development and a First Class Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Game Application Development from Abertay University, along with a Higher National Diploma in Computer Art & Media Design and an NCFE in IT System Administration.
