Gift Pilusa

Gift Pilusa has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. They started their career at Telkom SA as an End User Support Technician and later became a Systems Administrator, responsible for third-level support and administration of Microsoft Active Directory Environment. After that, they worked as a Junior IT System Administrator at Atlas Copco LTD, where they prepared the environment for the deployment of Windows Server 2003. They then returned to Telkom SA as a Systems Administrator and continued their work in end-user support and administration.

In 2014, Gift Pilusa joined Dimension Data as a Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer, supporting the company's Global Core Infrastructure. They were responsible for the development and deployment of IAM services based on Microsoft technologies.

In 2017, they joined South32 as a Senior Identity and Access Management Specialist, where they delivered enterprise-wide On-prem and Cloud Identity, Access, Directory, and Authentication Services. They also contributed to the design and development of IAM solutions.

Gift Pilusa then moved to Dimension Data again in 2018, continuing their role as a Senior Identity and Access Management Specialist.

In 2019, they transitioned to NTT Ltd. as a Senior Identity and Access Management Specialist, responsible for Identity and Access Management.

Currently, Gift Pilusa works at Investec as a Principal Active Directory Engineer.

Gift Pilusa obtained a Diploma in Information Technology with a field of study in Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2021. They also obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from PC Training & Business College. In addition, Gift Pilusa has obtained certifications in cybersecurity and Azure fundamentals from Microsoft. They have a certification as a Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert obtained in February 2023 and a certification as a Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate obtained in March 2022.
