Fernando Martinez M has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Managing Director, Global Credit at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since January 2021. Prior roles include Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager in the same department at IMCO, as well as Director and Associate Director of Investments - Private Fixed Income at SLC Management from March 2016 to January 2021. Fernando's expertise spans sourcing, underwriting, and managing private debt and equity investments within a multi-billion dollar portfolio across North America and Western Europe. Earlier positions include Associate of Acquisitions at Lux Equity, Summer Associate in Private Fixed Income at SLC Management, and various roles in Corporate Banking at Citi, where responsibilities included transaction origination and financing solutions for diverse sectors. Fernando holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
