Dara-Abasi Ita

Dara-Abasi Ita is a legal professional with a diverse range of experiences in writing, communications, and program management. Currently serving as a Legal Writer for Lawverse Magazine and a Board Member at Justice Udo Udoma Chambers, Dara-Abasi is responsible for enhancing communication strategies within the Chambers section of Business Law. In addition, Dara-Abasi holds positions as a Fellow at Millennium Campus Network and a Technical Writer at SweetBlocks, while actively promoting Cowrywise's financial services as an Ambassador. As the Director of Programs, Policies, and Projects at Legal Ideas Forum International, Dara-Abasi oversees the development and implementation of various initiatives. Previous roles include a FinTech Journalist at Upwork and leadership experiences in fintech mentorship programs. Dara-Abasi is pursuing an LLB in Law at the University of Uyo, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International and Diplomatic Studies from the University of Benin.
