Serena-Amani Al Jabbar

Serena-Amani A. currently serves as a Policy Officer at Queen Mary University of London Students' Union, a role held since November 2024. Previously, Serena-Amani held the position of Trustee at Queen Mary University of London from August 2023 to August 2024, and served as President of Queen Mary University of London Students' Union from August 2023 to July 2024, becoming the first elected student leader with over 50% of votes. Additionally, Serena-Amani acted as Chair of the QMSU Board of Trustees. Prior experience includes a Community Organising Internship at Citizens UK in early 2023 and a leadership role as Team Leader at Southampton Football Club from October 2016 to September 2020. Educational qualifications include a BA Hons in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London, completed in July 2023, following studies at Peter Symonds College from 2017 to 2019.
