Bart Horre

Bart Horre has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and consultancy. Bart started their career at RealDolmen as an intern in 2011. After that, they worked at various companies such as Vlaamse overheid, ETNIC, and CDS as a consultant specializing in JBoss Fuse and ServiceMix. In 2014, they joined JAVA Foodservice bvba, where they served as a Servicemix and Web application consultant for five years. During this time, they automated customer and supplier communication, integrated third-party cloud communication services, and performed troubleshooting. In 2016, Bart joined HRlinkIT as an Integration Consultant, where they developed integration solutions using Talend ESB/Studio and worked on projects involving Salesforce, Nagios, VDAB, Actonomy, and other platforms. Bart later worked as a Consultant at The Java Coffee Company in 2017. Bart's expertise then expanded to Scala software engineering when they joined KBC Securities in 2018, followed by an Open-Source Consultant role at anova r&d bvba in 2012. Currently, they are working as a Scala Software Engineer at InvestSuite starting from 2020.

Bart Horre completed their education at Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Professional Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics with a specialization in Software Development. In addition to their formal education, Bart has obtained several certifications. Bart completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course from Coursera in May 2013. In July 2018, they acquired a certification in "Functional Program Design in Scala" from the same platform.
