Nick Andersen

Nick Andersen has over five years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology. Nick currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Invictus International Consulting, LLC and serves as a Nonresident Senior Fellow for the Atlantic Council. Prior to this, they were the Chief Information Security Officer at Lumen Technologies and held several leadership positions at the US Department of Energy, Executive Office of the President, Pueo Business Solutions, and State of Vermont. Nick also served as a Vice President Corporate Strategy at Invictus International Consulting and as Chief Information Officer for Naval Intelligence at the US Navy. Nick has played a crucial role in cyber defense operations and risk management, providing executive leadership for the delivery of IT services worldwide.

Nick Andersen holds a Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's degree in IT Management from the American Public University System. Nick is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Brown University. Nick has also completed several certifications, including ITIL v3 Expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), GIAC Certified ISO-27000 Specialist (G2700), GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), A+ IT Technician, Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), as well as several ITIL, Microsoft, and CompTIA certifications.
