Robin Alan Sutherland

Robin Alan Sutherland has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Robin Alan is currently serving as the Exploration Director at Linden Energy Holdings since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Technical Adviser at Monitor Exploration starting from June 2021. In 2023, they took on the role of a Non-Executive Director at Invictus Energy Limited.

Before their current roles, Robin has held positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Anglo Eurasia Power Africa Llc since June 2020. Robin Alan also has a notable tenure at Tullow Oil, where they served as the GM Exploration Africa from July 2015 to May 2020. Robin Alan previously held roles as Exploration Manager and Geophysicist within the same company.

Robin's earliest work experience includes working as a Geophysicist at PetroSA from February 1993 to April 1997. Prior to that, they worked at Seismograph Service Corporation as a Geophysicist and later as the Country General Manager from October 1985 to January 1992.

Robin Alan Sutherland attended The University of Edinburgh from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geophysics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage, from edX in March 2021. The institution providing the certification is edX.
