Maya Kurup

Maya K. has over 20 years of work experience. Maya began their career in 2001 as a Senior Software Engineer [Contract] for OutPurchase Inc. In 2002, they took on a Senior Software Engineer (Contract) role at GE Power & Water. Later that year, they became a Solutions Architect at Spectrum Infinity. In 2005, they were a Solutions Architect [Contract] at Hitachi Data Systems. In 2006, they were promoted to Team Lead at Symcor. In 2009, they moved to AT&T where they were a Manager, OnGoing Services until 2021. That year, they became a Brand Ambassador (Canada) for InVideo. In 2022, they joined HYPCCCYCL as a Member. In 2020, they co-founded Skylight Alliance, which specializes in helping business owners with mergers and acquisitions. Finally, in 2017, they became the Owner of Kaizen Growth.

Maya K. began their educational journey in 1989 when they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Saskatchewan. In 2017, they obtained six certifications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the AT&T Scrum Master Certification from AT&T. In 2015, they also obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they earned a FR Certificate Granted from The Freelancer's Workshop for Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops. Additionally, they are currently enrolled in Harvard University's HLS2X: Contract Law: From Trust to Promise to Contract course.
