Andy Sonwell has a diverse background in creative roles, with their most recent position being a Creative Director at Invisible North. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Consultant - Brand Partnerships at Doodles and as a Creative Director - Marketing at RECUR. In their previous roles at dotdotdash, Inc., they served as a Creative Director, Senior Art Director, and User Experience Designer. At Tribute, they worked as a Senior Product Designer, collaborating closely with the CEO to develop the creative vision and user experience for a digital group gifting e-commerce API. Andy also worked as a Freelance UI Specialist at CMD, where they helped craft a new digital experience and e-commerce website for an undisclosed brand. As the Co-Founder & Creative Director of Escape Collective, they built client relationships and directed teams to produce experiences for various brands. Andy served as a Lead User Interface Designer at Omni, where they created a unified website and app experience for the tech start-up. Additionally, they worked as a Creative Director at Fitwall, overseeing the creation of a training software and design system. Their early career includes a role as an Art Director at Media Drink, where they focused on branding and website projects for local brands. Andy Sonwell obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Graphic Design from Spokane Falls Community College, where they studied from 2007 to 2008. Andy then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design and Visual Communications, General at Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2009 to 2012. Continuing their education, Andy attended Portland State University from 2012 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design.
