Matt Beaudet

Matt Beaudet is currently the CEO at InVivo Biosystems, but they have a long and varied history in the tech industry. Matt started their career as a Senior Program Manager at Life Technologies, where they worked for 15 years. During their time there, they gained a deep understanding of user-centered innovation and how to apply it to product development.

In 2013, they co-founded the FertiLab Thinkubator, a non-profit community-based tech incubator. As one of the original co-founders, Matt was driven by the belief that real change could be actively driven by incubating tech startups. In the first two years, the incubator saw success, providing mentoring and incubation to more than 50 member companies and 75 individual entrepreneurs. By December 2015, they had trained 24 concept stage companies and their incubated companies employed 62 individuals and brought over $4 million into the local economy.

Since 2015, those numbers have grown and the original incubator has spread to new physical locations and training programs in nearby Springfield Oregon, Cottage Grove Oregon, and along the Oregon coast.

The educational career for Matt Beaudet includes a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon.
