Stacey Burr has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years. From 1998 to 2003, they worked at DuPont as the Business & Marketing Director for Lycra(r). Stacey then moved to INVISTA as the Business Development Director from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they founded Textronics, Inc, where they developed smart clothing, embedded sensors, and ambulatory physiology sensing wearables for sports, industrial, and health or wellness uses. The company was later acquired by adidas, where they served as VP / GM Digital Sports and VP Wearable Sports Electronics from 2008 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Google as the GM / Vice President, leading product management, UX, and engineering for WearOS smart watch operating system and Google Fit lifestyle health app. Stacey is currently at Invoy, where they are the Strategy and Partnerships lead, addressing the growing obesity epidemic using new breath-based biometrics and a scalable analytics coaching service.
Stacey Burr obtained a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MSIA in Business, Operations, and Marketing from Purdue University Krannert School of Management. Additionally, in July 1999, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and Champion certification from the Six Sigma Institute.
