Leighton G. Rose

Leighton G. Rose is an experienced educator and leader, currently serving as a Senior Literature English Language Arts Teacher and Advanced Placement Language & Composition Teacher at Inwood Academy for Leadership Charter School since August 2022. Rose has a diverse background in ministry, having held positions as Apostle, Senior Pastor, and Church Planter at End Time Restoration Ministries from September 2009 to May 2023, as well as serving as a Community Crisis Chaplain with the New York State Chaplain Task Force from August 2015 to April 2022. Additional teaching experience includes a role at the NYC Department of Education from September 1999 to August 2010 and serving as a Youth Minister at Living Praise Ministries from June 1992 to August 2008. Rose holds a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, both from The City College of New York.
