Todd Patrick has a wealth of experience in the creative and UX design fields. Todd began their career in 1998 as an Art Director at MarchFirst (USWeb/CKS), where they led creative project teams and contractors, providing design and content direction for integrated strategic marketing initiatives and promotions. In 1999, they became the Creative Director at New Canoe, where they provided creative oversight, brand stewardship, and design implementation for an internet marketing company. In 2001, they founded a collective of independent creative professionals called DC-ten, where they handled client interaction, project management, and business affairs. From 2007 to 2010, Todd worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Sun Microsystems, where they helped launch the ground-breaking Sun ZFS Storage 7000 series of server appliances. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Design Director at DSSD, where they created a brand vision for a new startup as expressed through its identity collateral and software applications. From 2016 to 2018, Todd was the UX Design Lead at Dell EMC, where they provided senior leadership and mentoring to teams working on a next-generation storage appliance and a rapidly-iterated online monitoring service for enterprise deployments. In 2018, they became a Consultant at Accela, contributing to the User Experience Research & Strategy Lab, with a focus on inter-agency collaboration in government across jurisdictions, workflow analysis, and user mental models. Finally, since 2019, Todd has been the Creative Director at iodyne.
Todd Patrick attended Appalachian State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.
