Thomas M. Becker

Thomas M. Becker is the current CEO and President at Iofina Plc. Thomas has also previously served as the Research Chemist at Iofina Chemical, Inc., as well as the Director of the Center for Solid Waste Management Technologies at the University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science. During their time with the US EPA, Becker utilized Green Chemistry methodologies in the synthesis and study of catalysts for use in oxidation of alkanes using environmentally friendly oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide and oxygen. Thomas has also performed organometallic synthesis, high pressure reactions, organic ligand synthesis, IR, and GC/MS analyses.

Thomas M. Becker has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington.
