Robert Voets, CFCI, CCCI, has an extensive background in financial crimes and law enforcement. Since September 2008, Robert has served as Vice President of the Financial Crimes/Fraud Intelligence Unit at Ion Bank, where responsibilities include overseeing all financial and cyber crime activities. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions at Naugatuck Savings Bank, focusing on fraud investigations and corporate security, transitioning to Ion Bank after the merger in 2013. With a robust law enforcement background, Robert was a Detective Sergeant at the West Haven Police Department from December 1981 to October 2008, leading the Fraud Division and Computer and Technology Forensic Lab. Earlier experience includes seasonal police officer roles at the New York State Parkway Police, Southampton Police Department, and Southampton Village Police Department. Education credentials include studies at Long Island University and the Connecticut School of Finance and Management.
