Luis Medeiros Romao

Luis Medeiros Romao has a diverse work experience. Luis started their career in 2000 as a Business Analyst - Programmer at Logica SA. From 2001 to 2011, they worked at IBA, where they held various roles including Production Engineer, R&D Project Manager, Head of R&D Project Management Office, and Service Development Group Manager. In 2011, they became the Managing Director at Brussels Capital Concierge until 2014. Luis then joined SCK-CEN as the MYRRHA Accelerator Program Manager from 2011 to 2017. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as the RadioPharmaSolutions Service Delivery Manager ad interim at IBA. Luis also held positions at the Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, first as a Board Member from 2014 to 2020, and then as President from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, they started working at IBA again, first as the Technical Training and Documentation Director until 2019, then as the R&D Director - Software Engineering until 2021, and currently as the Project Director. In 2019, they co-founded Alpha Bikes and serves as the Co-Founder & Managing Director.

Luis Medeiros Romao completed their education as follows:

- In 2015, they attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, where they participated in the Brainstorm & Boost program for entrepreneurship.

- In 2013, they also studied at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, specifically completing the Les Sessions Solvay PME 2013 program in business administration and management.

- In 2009, they pursued an Executive Master in Innovation Management at the Université catholique de Louvain.

- From 2004 to 2006, they obtained a Master's degree in Management from the Université catholique de Louvain.

- Lastly, from 1996 to 2000, Luis Medeiros Romao attended the Haute Ecole de la Communauté française 'Paul-Henri Spaak', Bruxelles, where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electronics.
