Gyula Somogyi

Gyula Somogyi is a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at ION, where responsibilities include supporting software engineering teams and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Associate Cloud Engineer at MSCI Inc., where Gyula provided cloud provisioning expertise and led projects for new cloud technologies, and as an Infrastructure Systems/DevOps Engineer at Dealogic. Earlier positions involved roles at Itron, Oracle, and academic positions as a Senior Assistant Professor and Junior Assistant Professor at various institutions. Gyula holds a PhD in American Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Infocommunication Networks.
