Ruth Shattock

Ruth Shattock (nee Clevely) is an experienced specialist in dyslexia assessment and academic support, currently serving as a Specialist Dyslexia Assessor for Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment Services since October 2020. In addition, Ruth provides study skills tutoring for higher education students at Unitemps and Cosmic People, alongside fulfilling the role of Academic Support Lecturer at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition where support is offered through various channels. Previously, Ruth worked at University College Birmingham as an Academic Skills Lecturer and Specialist Assessor, managing exam concessions and providing tailored support for both further and higher education students. Ruth holds a Master of Arts in Adult Dyslexia Diagnosis and Support from London Southbank University and a Certificate in Education from the University of Worcester.
