Emmanuel Plier

Emmanuel Plier serves as the Chief of Staff at ION-X since August 2023, following an extensive tenure at Airbus Group Inc. where the role included Governance Support Lead at the Test Equipment Centre of Excellence from March 2011 to July 2023. In this capacity, Emmanuel Plier acted as a strategic partner to the Centre of Excellence Director, overseeing a significant portfolio with a scope of 450 personnel and managing over 170 ongoing projects. Previous roles at Airbus encompassed Senior Engineering Project Manager and Design Authority, handling large-scale engineering projects with budgets of 1 to 15 million euros, as well as Software Project Lead and Hardware Engineer positions. Prior experience includes software design roles at Thales Services and Ingenico. Emmanuel Plier holds two Master's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Embedded Systems from Georgia Institute of Technology and Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications, respectively.
