Lucille Moncel

Lucille Moncel is an experienced mechanical design engineer, currently working at ION-X since October 2023, focusing on the design and CAD of components for ion propulsion engines. Prior roles include internships at Gradel, where Lucille studied the effects of drying on composite materials and participated in a satellite deorbiting project with ESA, and at CNES, specializing in mechanical design for lunar rover transport modules. Lucille also contributed to innovative projects at Airbus, developing an adjustable running prosthesis. Academic qualifications include a general engineering diploma in advanced materials and structures for space from IMT Mines Albi, complemented by international education at Politecnico di Milano. Lucille's foundational education includes preparatory classes in Physics and Chemistry, and a scientific baccalaureate with a specialization in mathematics.
