Laura Doherty

Laura Doherty is the SVP of Advancement & External Affairs at Iona College. Laura has extensive experience in higher education, having served in various leadership roles at Purchase College, SUNY, William & Mary, Randolph-Macon College, and the University of Richmond. Laura is a proven fundraiser and has a track record of success in building relationships with donors and other key stakeholders. Laura is passionate about education and committed to helping students reach their full potential.

After completing their undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, Laura Doherty pursued an MBA at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business with a focus in strategic leadership.

They are on a team with Kevin O’sullivan - SVP, Enrollment & Student Affairs, Denise Smith - Director, Human Resources, and Anne Marie Schettini-Lynch - SVP, Finance & Administration. Their manager is Seamus Carey, President.
