Ken Sodemann has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and solutions architecture. Ken began their career in 1994 at Esterline AVISTA, where they were a Software Engineer. Theirrole included performing software development and verification of embedded avionics systems to DO-178B and DOD-STD-2167 standards, as well as developing a MS-Windows based dispatching program for the trucking industry. Ken was also a lead engineer on several teams working on both development and verification efforts. In 1999, Ken moved to Penta Technologies, Inc. as a Software Architect. In this role, they developed and supported multiple components of the company's product, greatly improved the deployment and upgrade of their database schema and Linux based software, and improved internal processes with an eye towards improving the quality of their product and reducing the time spent on support overhead. In 2017, Ken joined Ionic as the Director of Solutions Architects. Ken also served as a Senior Developer Support Engineer and Senior Solutions Architect. In this role, they helped enterprise customers who were using the Ionic Platform create great applications, and was also a contributing developer on the platform.
Ken Sodemann attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 1986 to 1992, where they earned a degree in Applied Mathematics.
