Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis has worked in various roles since 2011. Michael began their career as an Expert Researcher and Marketing Coordinator at IMS Expert Services. In 2013, they joined Mozilla as a Program Manager for the Mozilla Tech Speakers program, Senior Project Manager, and Content Manager for the Firefox Marketplace & Connected Devices. In 2020, they began working at SailPoint as a Developer Community Manager and at InfluxData as an Open Source Community Manager. In 2021, they joined Ionic as a Community Manager. At InfluxData, they restarted and headed the dormant “InfluxAces” community program, organized InfluxDays 2020 virtual edition, and planned and hosted in-person & virtual meetups & webinars for Time Series Meetup groups in over 20 cities. At Mozilla, they oversaw the Mozilla Tech Speakers program, executed the transition from the pilot phase to the production phase of the program, and served as Project Manager for the design, implementation, tracking, and reporting of the content onboarding program for Firefox Smart TV. At IMS Expert Services, they served as an Expert Researcher and Marketing Coordinator.

Michael Ellis began their education in 2006 when they enrolled in the University of West Florida. Michael graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in International Marketing. Michael also holds an International Baccalaureate.
