Shay Bujanover

Shay Bujanover, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., overseeing a comprehensive Medical Affairs function across cardiovascular, neurology, and specialty-rare therapeutic areas. With prior experience as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Ionis, Bujanover was instrumental in establishing the Medical Affairs function and its sub-functions. Previous roles include Global Medical Affairs Therapy Area Head for Neurosciences at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, overseeing global medical plans and leading a team, and Head of Medical Affairs at Depomed, Inc., managing activities for multiple marketed products. Bujanover's earlier career includes significant positions at Medtronic and Genentech, alongside an orthopedic residency at Tel Aviv Medical Center. Bujanover holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and an MD from Tel Aviv University, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree from Tel Aviv University.
