Andreia Almeida

Andreia Almeida is a Senior Research and Development Scientist at IonOpticks since October 2020. Previously, Andreia held various positions at the Institute for Glycomics, including Research Scientist and HDR candidate from February 2017 to September 2020, and at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces as an Early Stage Researcher from October 2013 to December 2016, focusing on glycoproteomics and glycomics. Andreia's early research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge in clinical proteomics. Andreia obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Griffith University in June 2019, a Master’s degree in Clinical Biochemistry from Universidade de Aveiro in 2012, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the same institution in 2010.
