Nancy Moreno Huizar

Nancy Moreno Huizar has over 8 years of professional experience. Nancy started their career in 2013 as a Sales Representative at Hollister Co. and was later promoted to Assistant Manager. In 2016, they joined the Catherine Lozupone Lab - UC Denver Anschutz Medical Campus as a Professional Research Assistant, where they developed a Python 3 script, designed and maintained spreadsheets of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) gut microbiome metadata, and analyzed bacterial DNA sequence data from ASD gut microbiomes. In 2019, they worked as an Independent Contractor for the Latino Task Force of Boulder County, where they embedded an interactive map into the current SquareSpace website. In 2021, Nancy Moreno Huizar began working as a Data Analyst at Invitae and is currently employed in the same role at Iontra LLC.

Nancy Moreno Huizar earned their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Denver in 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health from the same university in 2016.
