Alonso Munoz

Alonso Munoz, MSBA, is a professional with extensive experience in destination services and community engagement. Currently serving as an Envision El Paso Ambassador since March 2024, responsibilities include conducting intercept surveys, collaborating with local agencies, and facilitating community meetings. As a Destination Services Consultant at IOR Global Services since April 2023, support is provided to individuals relocating by assisting with home finding and school searches. Previously, in the role of Destination Experience Specialist at Destination El Paso, Alonso acted as a liaison between visitors and the city. Additional experience includes positions with Marriott Hotels, the U.S. Department of State's CBYX program, and various roles in sustainability and design, showcasing a strong commitment to service and community leadership. Alonso holds a Master of Science in Business Administration in Tourism from Lucerne University and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management from the University of Houston.
