Heather Doe

Heather Doe has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Heather started their career in 1999 as a School Marketing Officer at Iowa Student Loan, where they developed manuals, updated marketing materials, and created effective presentations. Heather then worked as a Communications Specialist at Iowa College Student Aid Commission from 2006 to 2008, where they designed marketing materials, wrote content for publications, and represented the company at trade shows. From 2008 to 2016, they served as the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications at the State of Iowa, leading a team and developing public relations and marketing strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications at Iowa Department of Education, where they oversee communications initiatives.

Heather Doe pursued their education at Iowa State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Apparel and Textiles from 1989 to 1994. During the same duration, they also attained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from the same university. Heather further pursued their education at Iowa State University, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Apparel and Textiles from 1996 to 1998.
