Kaylynn Short

Kaylynn Short is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as an Accountant 3 at Iowa PBS since October 2017. Prior roles include significant positions within the Association of Government Accountants, where Kaylynn held leadership roles such as Chapter President and Chapter Immediate Past President/NCC Rep & Chapter Secretary. Previous experience encompasses positions at the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship as an Accountant 2, and as a Senior Auditor for the Office of Auditor of State in the State of Iowa. Earlier in the career, Kaylynn worked in various accounting-related roles, including an Accounting Internship at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and an Accounting Temp position at Kum & Go. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Iowa, completed in 2011. Additionally, Kaylynn has diverse prior experience in customer service and cash management roles at Kmart Corporation and Cambus.
