Mitchel Sellers

Mitchel Sellers is the Founder, CEO, and Director of Development at IowaComputerGurus Inc. since April 2006, where Mitchel oversees the development team and the architecture of technology solutions. As a community-elected Vice President of the .NET Foundation since July 2023, Mitchel aims to support open-source software development. In addition, Mitchel serves as the Director of IT for the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association, focusing on safety and education for aircraft owners and pilots. As a CFII/MEI and Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot at MS Flight Training, LLC, Mitchel provides flight instruction in central Iowa. Previous roles include adjunct instructor positions at Simpson College and Des Moines Area Community College, and authoring technical books with Wiley/Wrox Press. Educational credentials include a BS in Information & Technology Management from Grand View University and an AAS in Business Information Systems from Des Moines Area Community College.
