Filip Macek

Filip Macek has extensive work experience as a software engineer and backend developer. Filip started their career in 2018 at Croatia Osiguranje d.d. as a Software Engineer and worked there until June 2019. From September to December 2019, they worked as a Market Analyst at Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d. (Erste Bank Croatia). In September 2019, they joined Flowix as a Software Engineer / Quant developer, where they are still employed. Filip Macek also worked at Q agency as a Backend Developer from January to March 2023. Currently, they are the Senior Backend Engineer at IP Fabric, starting in April 2023.

Filip Macek completed their education at the Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2016. Filip continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics in 2020. As part of their educational journey, they also participated in an exchange program at the University of Vienna for a year in 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, Filip has achieved certifications to enhance their professional skills. Filip passed the CFA Exam Level II in 2019 and CFA Exam Level I in 2018, both from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023.
