Mark G.

Mark G. began their work experience in 1999 as a Sr. Technical Support Representative at eFax.com. Mark then worked at Openwave Systems as a Sr. Systems Administrator from 2000 to 2007, where they were responsible for maintaining over 3000 UNIX servers and configuring Oracle databases and Apache web servers. In 2007, Mark joined Walmart.com as a NOC Analyst II until 2008. Mark then worked at Bayside Solutions as a Data Center Technical Lead for AT&T from 2008 to 2015, where they coordinated projects, installed and decommissioned servers, and managed shipments. From 2015 to 2016, Mark worked at Icontrol Networks as a Hosting Operations - Linux Administrator, handling tasks such as server monitoring, deploying hypervisors, and managing version control systems. Mark then joined ADP as an Implementation Engineer III from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Mark holds the position of Support Engineer III / Hardware Assembly Supervisor at IPConfigure Inc. since 2018.

Mark G. obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Science from Heald College, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their degree, they have achieved various certifications throughout their career. These include the SUSE Certified Linux Administrator (CLA) from SUSE Technical Training in November 2015, CompTIA Server+ from CompTIA in October 2015, edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Linux from edX in April 2015, Linux Redhat Administration from Akibia in January 2004, CompTIA i-Net+ from CompTIA in July 2000, CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in October 1998, and CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) from CompTIA in November 2015.
