Riccardo Leto

Riccardo Leto is a highly experienced engineer specializing in embedded systems and laser technologies, currently serving as a Senior Embedded System Engineer at IPG Photonics since November 2022. Prior to this, Riccardo held significant roles at Panasonic Boston Laboratory, including Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager, focusing on the design and development of laser systems. Riccardo's earlier experience includes engineering positions at Microtech, where contributions were made to LaserWriter development, and Citec as an electronic engineer. Additionally, Riccardo worked at the Osservatorio Astronomico di Capodimonte, designing control systems for the VST Telescope and assisting in VIMOS/VIRMOS control system design. Academic credentials include a degree in Electronics (Optoelectronics) from Università degli Studi di Palermo, earned with the distinction of 110/110 cum laude.
