Tom Petersen

Tom Petersen started their work experience as the General Manager at Instrument Industries in January 1997 and worked there until August 1999. Tom then founded and served as President/Founder of ThreeCore, Inc. from June 2000 to December 2013. In 2003, they co-founded Nutfield Technology and worked there until June 2013. From January 2014 to August 2014, they worked at Transit Wireless as a Director, responsible for materials, equipment, and services for advanced technology solutions. Currently, Tom is the Vice President of Laser Systems at IPG Photonics, a position they have held since August 2014. In this role, they are responsible for the engineering, manufacturing, service, and market development of laser-based processing equipment.

Tom Petersen attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Tom then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing at Bentley University.
