Steve Maclauchlan is currently the Head of Data at Ippon Technologies. Prior to this, they were the Director of Data Consulting Services at UDig from June 2016 to September 2021. In this role, Steve managed all things data for UDig and helped clients design and execute solutions that built a business intelligence framework and prepared their organization for next generation analytics.
As a leading provider of technology consultants, project teams and strategic outsourcing services, UDig's expertise in Digital, Data, Engineering and Innovation allowed them to help businesses keep pace with technology. Steve's diverse team of experts was small enough to provide personal service, yet large enough to execute and deliver on enterprise initiatives. Based in Richmond, VA, their footprint covered the Mid-Atlantic with consultants engaged on client sites across the country.
Steve has a deep understanding of the fine balance required between system infrastructure, business process and culture to implement and maintain successful data projects. Steve is able to guide clients on their journey of defining and building their data architecture, data strategy, and more.
Steve Maclauchlan began their educational career by studying computer science at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science. Steve then went on to study information systems technology at Central Virginia Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science. Finally, they obtained a certification from DAMA in certified data management professional.
Their manager is Romain Lhéritier, Country Manager USA. They are on a team with Lane Jennison - Head of Cloud & DevOps, Hayley Ortega - Head of Product, and Dennis Sharpe - CTO.
