Katja Häcker

Katja de Gruyter is an experienced Energy and Climate Consultant at Brightspot Climate, where engagement began in July 2020. Prior roles include EHS Regulatory Analyst at Nimonik from September 2018 to July 2020 and Environmental Specialist at D&G Envrio-Group from November 2017 to August 2018, focusing on Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments. Katja also interned at the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques in 2017, contributing to climate change mitigation research. Earlier career experience includes web development positions at TD and Aquent. Katja holds a Master's degree in Environment with a focus on Environmental Assessment and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Environmental topics, both from Concordia University.
