Jason Lanning

Jason Lanning is an experienced educator currently serving as an IB DP History Teacher at International Programs School since August 2020. Prior to this role, Jason worked as a High School Teacher at Roward Al-Khaleej and gained valuable teaching experience through student teaching at Ogden Middle School. Jason's background includes tutoring English as a Second Language at Portland Community College, as well as a variety of roles in educational settings starting from paraeducator at Rigler Elementary School to camp counselor at The International School. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Lewis & Clark College and a Bachelor's degree in History from Portland State University, along with an Associate degree from Portland Community College. Additionally, Jason has diverse past experience in sales management and music, contributing to skills in leadership and organization.
